Dr Kaczander was the moderator for a lecture at the recent Great Lakes Conference in March, entitlted "The Non-Healing Ulcer-What To Do, and Why".
Dr Kaczander also recently returned from the annual meeting of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in Las Vegas.

Spring 2006
Dr. Galea has just completed his 8th year volunteering his services for the Livonia Stevenson girls soccer team.
Dr. Galea just returned from the Michigan Special Olympics event in Mt. Pleasant where he continues as the Director of Podiartry. In this role, Dr. Galea and his volunteer staff screen the athletes (over 100 evaluated) and serve as an entry into the medical system for a population that is often neglected.
Dr. Galea recently attended the Southern Exposure Conference in Ohio, where the emphasis was placed on sports medicine and surgery.

Spring 2006
For the 26th year, Dr. Mehler attended the Midwest Podiatry Conference in Chicago. This year's meeting was extremely comprehensive and had a strong focus on diabetic foot care and diabetic foot wounds.
Five members of our office staff also attended the conference. They were able to sharpen their skills and learn new techniques to help better serve our patients.
